Shark Fishing Navarre Beach FL: Guided Land-Based Trips
Navarre Beach sits between Pensacola Beach and Destin on the eastern end of Santa Rosa Island, known as "Florida's Most Relaxing Place." Less crowded than Pensacola Beach. Productive shark fishing on uncrowded sand. Coastal Worldwide runs guided beach shark fishing trips on Navarre Beach year-round. Land-based. No boat. No seasickness. Family-friendly setup with kayak bait deployment 200 to 800 yards offshore.
The water off Navarre Beach holds bull sharks, hammerheads, blacktips, spinners, lemons, and the occasional tiger. Our crew has 12 years of experience finding them and putting your family in front of a once-in-a-lifetime catch. Five great white sharks have been landed from shore over the life of our operation.
USA Today named Coastal Worldwide the #7 best fishing charter in America for 2025, with a focus on land-based shark fishing. Navarre Beach trips are a part of how we earned that ranking.
Why Navarre Beach for Land-Based Shark Fishing
Navarre Beach has lower foot traffic than Pensacola Beach or Destin. The Navarre Beach Fishing Pier (1,545 feet, one of the longest on the Gulf Coast) attracts baitfish schools, which draws sharks close to shore. East of the pier, the beaches toward Eglin Air Force Base are some of the least-fished stretches in the Florida panhandle. Less fishing pressure means more sharks and bigger sharks.
Shark Species Caught from Navarre Beach
Bull Sharks
Navarre Beach is bull shark territory. Nearshore waters hold strong populations year-round, with fish regularly over 300 to 500 pounds.
Blacktip Sharks
Huge schools of blacktips migrate through Navarre Beach waters during spring and fall. Fast, acrobatic fights that everyone enjoys.
Hammerhead Sharks
Great hammerheads patrol the deeper water off Navarre during summer. We deploy baits past the second sandbar to target these giants.
Spinner Sharks
Navarre's clear water makes spinner shark fights spectacular. You can watch them leap and spin from the beach.
Lemon Sharks
Common in warmer months. Cruise the shallow sandbars. Powerful fights.
Tiger Sharks
The apex predator on our list. Rare on any given trip, but Navarre has produced tiger catches over the years.
