When you arrive at the beach, our guides will already have the base camp set up: rod holders staked in the sand, tackle rigged and ready, and fresh bait on ice. Here is how a typical trip unfolds:

• Briefing: Your guide walks you through safety, gear, species you might encounter, and what to do when a shark takes the bait.
• Bait deployment: We kayak large fresh baits (bonito, jack crevalle, stingray) 300 to 800 yards offshore and set them at specific depths.
• The wait: Relax on the beach, enjoy the scenery, and keep your eyes on the rod tips. When a reel screams, it is go time.
• The fight: Your guide coaches you through the fight. Sharks can run hundreds of yards and battle for 10 minutes to an hour. The ultimate test of endurance.

What happens if the weather is bad on my scheduled trip?
If conditions are unsafe, we reschedule at no cost. Light rain and wind typically do not affect trips. Some of our best fishing happens during overcast conditions.
