What is beach shark fishing?

Beach shark fishing (also called shore-based shark fishing) is exactly what it sounds like, we fish for sharks right from the beach. Our guides deploy baits from kayaks into The Gulf while you wait onshore with heavy tackle. When a shark takes the bait, you fight it from the sand. It is one of the most thrilling fishing experiences on the Gulf Coast, and Pensacola is one of the best places in the world to do it.

What kinds of sharks will we catch?

The most common species we land are bull sharks, blacktip sharks, spinner sharks, and tiger sharks. Depending on the season, you may also encounter lemon sharks, nurse sharks, and hammerhead sharks. In January 2026, we caught and released a 1,800-pound great white shark from the beach, a once-in-a-lifetime catch that made national headlines.

Is beach shark fishing safe?

Yes. Safety is our top priority on every trip. Our experienced guides handle all bait deployment and shark handling. We practice strict catch-and-release for all protected species and follow all Florida FWC regulations.

Do you keep the sharks?

We practice catch-and-release on the vast majority of our catches. Some species may be harvested within FWC regulations if the client wishes, but we strongly encourage releasing all sharks to protect the fishery. Booking and Pricing

How much does a beach shark fishing trip cost?

We offer three packages: the 6-Hour Shark Trip ($1,200) from 6pm to midnight, the 8-Hour Shark Charter ($1,500) from 6pm to 2am, and our most popular 12-Hour Expedition ($2,100) from 6pm to 6am. All trips include gear, bait, tackle, beach chairs, and an experienced guide.

How do I book a trip?

How many people can go on one trip?

Standard trips accommodate up to 5 guests. For groups of 6+, we offer group rates. Perfect for bachelor parties, corporate outings, family reunions, and birthday celebrations.

Do you offer gift certificates?

Yes! Contact us to purchase a gift certificate for any trip package.

What to Expect

What should I bring?

We provide all fishing gear, bait, tackle, and beach chairs. Bring sunscreen, bug spray, snacks and drinks (coolers welcome), a towel, comfortable clothes, a jacket for overnight trips, and a camera.

What if the weather is bad?

If conditions are unsafe, we reschedule. Light rain and wind typically do not affect trips, some of our best fishing happens during overcast conditions.

Where do the trips take place?

Our primary locations are Pensacola Beach, Navarre Beach, and Perdido Key. We also run trips to Destin, Orange Beach AL, and Fort Morgan.
